When I moved to Nottingham to start life as a student I very quickly found myself wrapped up in Uni culture and placing my value in the wrong places. When I realised this didn’t fulfil me I started to get more plugged into church and God completely changed my life, and university ultimately became a time of deep spiritual growth.
Uni is both an eye-opening and really fun experience, but it is also a time where faith can come alive in so many different ways.
I am passionate about seeing students know this reality for themselves, whether they have already met Jesus or are yet to do so, and for them to find meaningful community in church, embracing God’s calling on their life and stepping out in faith. I’m so thankful I get to play a part in enabling this by coaching and training people to reach, welcome and disciple students in their context, sharpening the way in which local churches participate in student mission.
