All Fusion team members raise their salary. They are responding to God's call and need a team around them who support, encourage and pray for them. From Autumn 2020, I will be based in Spain with my husband Olli. We will both be working there longterm to see a student mission movement established through local church.
Partnering for us is all about sharing this journey and sowing into what God is doing amongst students in Spain and across Europe.
the picture of church and students looks very different in Spain to what we see in the UK.
There are very few churches reaching students, and young people struggle to find spaces where they can engage with church. We’ll be taking the experiences and resources of Fusion to equip and support churches in working with students. We hope to share stories of student mission and see more and more churches invest in student ministry and mission across Spain.
God is on the move amongst students.
He’s calling students back to himself, and wants to work through them to turn the hearts of our nations back to him too.
Student years can go a number of ways, as you may well know. Through the sea of new opportunities and faces, the challenges and stresses and the sheer mess of trying to work out who you are; we see Jesus. We see a time packed-full of potential for every young person to hear about Jesus and get a chance to try out church. We see open hearts and minds and a student movement in motion; one that begins with the local church but extends to change not just campuses, but nations and Europe too.
