Fusion Gathering 2026

Fusion Gathering 16x9 Hero Final

Time and time again when we gather as a movement of churches passionate about seeing students come to find hope in Jesus and home in the local church, we leave equipped, inspired and refreshed by our time together in the presence of God. These gatherings provide powerful spaces of celebration and encounter where calling is confirmed, deepened and sharpened and God is exalted, glorified and honoured above all.

This year, the gathering’s theme is A Call to the Deep, with our time together centred on Luke 5:1-11 and the calling of the first disciples. We will explore the key themes that come up in this passage, considering how these can be applied into student mission today, to strengthen and sharpen us to go again in the big adventure of disciple-making mission Jesus invites us into. Our contributors include members of the Fusion team, who have years of experience and bundles of passion for seeing the church equipped and released to love, welcome and disciple students. We’re also thrilled to be joined by some exceptional guest contributors, including Amy Hughes from Trinity Nottingham and The Orchard Women and Sam Chanda from Lighthouse Church Manchester.

We have some excellent ticket offers available for groups and individuals, so don't miss out on your place after we sold out in 2025! This year, we are being hosted by our friends at One Church Leicester. This is a state of the art, air-conditioned and spacious venue with plenty of free parking, regular direct trains from London St Pancras in just over an hour, excellent road links via the M1 and East Midlands Airport just down the road.

Sam Chanda

Sam has had the privilege of being the Executive Pastor at the Lighthouse Church Manchester over the last five year. This has simply meant being able to bring strategy and practicality to visions set. He has also been responsible for leading the student space there as part of his role. He is still just as passionate as he was when he started to see students impacted and encounter God whilst they are at university.

Mads
Mads Brown

Mads has been the student worker at St Swithin’s in Lincoln for the last 7 years and is also part of the team at Fusion Movement.

Mads has a huge heart for seeing students come to know Jesus during their time at the university! She loves connecting with new people and is a dynamic and engaging communicator.
