Hey, I’m Nathan! I have just finished a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have a huge heart for evangelism.

There was never a moment in my life when I particularly doubted Jesus. This led me to feel like I didn’t have a powerful testimony, but my perspective changed when I realised that my ongoing faith was itself a testimony to God’s goodness and grace.

Having grown up in a Christian home, I have always been motivated by the question: What would my life look like without Jesus? This was at the heart of my desire to go into full-time evangelism. For as long as I can remember, my faith in Jesus has given me hope, and the local church has given me a home. It was a crucial community that helped me thrive in my faith during my university years. Through working with Fusion, I am passionate about making this a reality for every student.

Two surprising statistics shaped my desire to go into student ministry. Over 75% of students would attend church if invited by a friend, yet only 1% of students are actively involved. This fuelled my ambition to ensure people hear about Jesus. After all, "...how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him?" (Romans 10:14). In other words, the gospel is not good news to people who never hear it.

The gospel has changed my life, and I endeavour to bring it to as many students as possible, so that others may experience the joy we have in knowing Jesus.
